Nicole & Ed | Industrial Engagement Session at Bethlehem Steel Stacks | Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

One of my favorite parts of getting to know my clients comes when we are planning their engagement session. The location of the engagement session really tells a lot about my client’s personality, style and preferences. As we were working together to select a spot, Ed shared with me that Nicole really loves industrial buildings and historic sites. They are both engineers, so the Bethlehem Steel Stacks was a great fit and checked off all the boxes of their Lehigh Valley engagement session wish list!

I’ve actually known Ed for a long time. Over the course of the past 10 years that my husband and I have been married, Ed has been my husband’s boss TWICE! But, this was actually the first time I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Nicole. I knew the moment that we met in person, that we were the right match.

My favorite part of our time with Ed and Nicole was just getting to know them as a couple. They are so fun and easy to be around. I can see how they are made for each other. Nicole is so much fun, so beautiful, and has the most amazing laugh. Ed is so calm, easy to talk to, and looks at Nicole in a way that will make you melt. I honestly don’t think that these two could take a bad picture! I love how they just cozied into one another and just soaked up our time together.

I am so excited to see these two in their wedding attire and capture their day! I hope you enjoy getting to know them through their Bethlehem Steel Stacks Engagement Portraits!

Romantic Riverside Summer Wedding at Clarks Landing Yacht Club | Theresa & David | South Jersey Wedding Photographer

Theresa and Dave got married this August at the gorgeous Clarks Landing Yacht Club, a stunning and unique venue in Delran, New Jersey. It was a gorgeous summer day with the most amazing sunset I’ve had this entire wedding season.

Theresa and David got ready at the Aloft Hotel in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey with their bridal party and closest family. The atmosphere was so energetic which completely matched the vibe of the Aloft Hotel. The couple opted for a traditional timeline, so they did not see one another prior to the ceremony.  They rode separately for the short ride to Clarks Landing Yacht Club where we quickly grabbed some separate bridal party shots, then prepped for the big event!

The ceremony was a beautiful service on the venue grounds overlooking the Delaware River and the gorgeous boats at the yacht club. The environment was so peaceful and serene with the water flowing alongside the ceremony site.  During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was so emotional and such a personal service. There wasn't a dry eye!

The reception was in a beautiful ballroom overlooking the water and yacht club. They chose Clarks Landing Yacht Club because:

“It was literally everything we were looking for in a venue. We wanted to have a ceremony near the water, and have a reception immediately following. We loved our warm and welcoming the staff was there and we knew they were take really good care of our guests."

It was a nautical themed wedding, which worked perfectly with the sailboats and river in view. The couple selected the theme was based upon where they got engaged.

“We wanted to keep it nautical and reminiscent of Martha's Vineyard.”

I loved shooting this Clarks Landing Yacht Club wedding because the photo ops are just incredible.   There are beautifully landscaped grounds and the sun sets perfectly over the water which gave us the perfect opportunity for amazing sunset portraits for the bride and groom.

The most memorable part of the day was listening to the vows that they had written themselves--it was so romantic and personal. They also had the most gorgeous fog during the First Dance – believe it or not, it was the first time I’ve seen that at a wedding!

Theresa and Dave’s wedding was just the happiest occasion and everything I love about weddings.  I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their beautiful Clarks Landing Yacht Club wedding!

Corey & PJ | Durham Hill Farm Wedding | Bucks County Wedding Photographer

Corey and PJ got married at rustic Durham Hill Farm located in Bucks County, PA early this month. It was an awesome day filled with so much love, laughter, and relaxed energy.

Corey and her bridesmaids got ready in Durham Hill Farm’s gorgeous bridal suite while PJ and the guys prepared for the day at PJ’s childhood home.  Both locations were absolutely perfect!

The day began with lots of cloud cover and gray skies.  We were a little worried that we may have some rain during their wedding day, but the sun made an appearance just after Corey and PJ’s First Look near the stables!  Right in the middle of their formal portraits, the weather shifted and the skies went from dark and cloudy to complete beaming sunshine.  It was such an awesome omen!

Following their first look and bridal portraits, they had an incredible ceremony overlooking the horse pastures at Durham Hill Farm.  There was so much laughter as PJ and Corey’s officiant told stories of Corey and PJ’s journey to the altar.  After eight years of dating, they made it official as their closest family and friends witnessed their vows, then showered them with bubbles during the recessional--What a fun way to conclude the wedding ceremony!

Cocktail hour was followed by an incredible reception inside Durham Hill Farm’s 1812 stone bank barn.  There, they shared their first dance as husband and wife, celebrated with their guests, and had a visit from the Mr. Softee ice cream truck--a sweet ending to an amazing night!

Congratulations, Corey and PJ!  Thank you so much for choosing me to document your beautiful Durham Hill Farm wedding!
